This #Flashback Friday takes us to the 2015 Frozen 5k during the Princess Half Marathon Weekend. When I say frozen, I mean it was cold and the theme was Frozen! So let’s delve into this #Flashback Friday!
You have to love Florida weather. One just never knows what they’re going to get. Thankfully, we had bought some cheap blankets that we were willing to part with if we warmed up during the event. Oh if that had happened…it was COLD!!! We never took the blankets off. Just to let you know, when you have those throw away items that you leave on the route, they get donated to those in need. What a great thing, right!
Despite the frozen temps, we had a great time listening to “Let it Go” in who knows how many different languages as we made it around the World Showcase. By the time we finished, it was seared into our brains. If I remember correctly, our costumes that year were Anna and Elsa aprons that never saw the light of day. No matter, our pictures were memories we’ll never forget!
Did you enjoy the frozen Frozen 5k in 2015? I have to admit, I’m kinda missing the thought of not going to Princess Half Weekend in 2020. I didn’t think I would with the excitement of the full the month before. Hmmm…
